Glen Wexler called me one morning...out of the blue...I'm
nearly embarrassed to say, I didn't know who he was...in my defense,
I was just months new to Hollywood. Turns out he is one of the most famous/well known creatives who designs Album covers...big time...in addition to being a brilliant photographic portrait artist.
Anyway, he wanted me to 'pop over' to his studio and help with a project...a band named Slaughter. When I arrived there was a freshly built ticket booth in raw wood...he points and says, 'I need it in a
couple of hours, can you do it?' I smiled, got my kit and went to work...
Wexler's album cover projects include, Van Halen (Balance), Black Sabbath (Reunion), Rush (Hold Your Fire), ZZ Top (Greatest Hits), Missing Persons (Spring Session M), Slaughter (Stick It to Ya), Chuck Wild (11 Liquid Mind albums) and Chaka Kahn (Naughty). Wexler also created images for Michael Jackson, KISS, Yes, Kansas, Whitesnake, The Black Crowes, Boston, Steve Miller Band, Peter Frampton, Bob Weir, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Heaven and Earth and many others.
