The Hanoi Hilton, feature film, 1986. As the Asst. Art Director I wore several hats; designing some sets, decorating some sets, painting sets, painting large banners for night street scenes, murals for the prison compound. Here is one of the murals on fake corrugated plastic.
Note on painting style; I made an effort not to pretty up
murals, in my research I found near exact examples in tiny illustrations
from N. Vietnam and made an effort to duplicate them.
